As a bonus, at such low prices, you can afford to get a few for different situations.

   Overstock: You will find lots of covers at Overstock.com in the under-five-dollar range, and also a few great options for just a little bit more.

   Amazon.com: The huge online retailer has a surprising number of decent low-cost iPhone cases — and even when you tack on non-Prime shipping charges, many of them still come out to under five dollars.

   Budget Gadgets: Lots of cheap iPhone cases can be found at this Chinese importer’s site. (We have the feeling, though, that the Louis Vuitton cover for $2.26 isn’t the real deal.)

   Deal Extreme: Another straight-outta-Asia importer, on their site, you can find lots of iPhone cases, accessories and related gadgetry for only a few bucks (including shipping).

   On the other hand, if you’re looking for something unique, beautiful and strictly made in America, you must check out the American-made bamboo iPhone cases from Oregon by a company called Grove. Carved from solid bamboo and available in two finishes, these cases can also be plain, custom engraved, or you can choose from one of several very cool artisan designs.
